01

Lake Keurusselkä

Villa Foxboro stands on the shore of Lake Keurusselkä. A private dock, rowing boat and stand-up paddleboards make the lake part of your day from morning until evening.

02

Fishing

Keuruu is surrounded by lakes, and its largest lake, Keurusselkä, is about 30 kilometers long. Please check the required fees and local permits before fishing.

03

Hiking

The Keuruu region offers nature trails of different lengths, lean-to shelters and viewpoints. Choose a route to suit the day and your group from the town's outdoor map.

04

Cycling

The area's quiet roads and Keuruu gravel routes suit touring, electric, gravel and mountain bikes. Plan a full-day ride or a shorter scenic route.

05

Berries and mushrooms

In late summer and autumn, the nearby forests invite you to pick berries and mushrooms. The best discoveries are often made without a detailed plan.

06

Birds and nature

A pair of swans has nested in Villa Foxboro's bay for several years. Swans and cranes can also be spotted in fields and wetlands on the way to Keuruu.

07

Winter and cross-country skiing

The Keuruu region has an extensive network of trails for both classic and skate skiing. Snowy nature is also ideal for walking and winter outings—always check conditions and safety before venturing onto the ice.
